“ We asked for a meal that wasn't on the menu. It was a chicken tikka and keema lamb curry with grated English cheese over it. It was extremely tasty and plenty of it. I highly recommend the Kings repose to anyone who loves Indian cuisine. ”
“ I had the opportunity to visit with a couple of close friends. We had an excellent greeting as we arrived, we were shown to our seats and provided with drinks with great efficiency. The food order was taken promptly and it was out in no time. The food itself was beautiful. We had a selection of lamb, chicken and shell fish, accompanied with rice and naan’s. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. I must add that the building and premises is lovely also. Five star! I would recommend to anyone! ”
“ Lovely venue, all staff very polite and friendly, food was excellent, would highly recommend. ”
“ Been a while since I've been here and won't leave it as long next time. Beautiful building, food was excellent with a huge choice on the menu. Staff were excellent and helped in deciding what I wanted. Very reasonably priced aswell. ”
“ Walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and was offered a table within 10mins. Staff very attentive and food was excellent. Was even asked how spicy I would like it and being an Indian catered for it spot on. Sat at a table for 2 which was a bit small and straight away without hesitation they asked if we'd like to move to a bigger table. Can't fault it. Definitely will be coming back ”
“ As soon as you walk in you are greated by the lovely staff which never fail to be polite and have a laugh with you. You can order your food at the bar before being seated or you can head straight up to your table. We like ordering downstairs as there's no menus cluttering up your table. The food is aways incredible and if there isn't anything on the menu you fancy they will cook you up something nice to your taste. As its an old building with lots of character the decor suits just this. All in all would recommend to anyone and would come again ”
“ Been coming here for nigh on 20 years and whilst other places change owners and names this has always stayed the same. Great food that has never disappointed us and with all the cost of living increases the past few years their prices are probably better than competitors. ”
“ The staff are very welcoming when u get there. The food was very delicious and plenty of it .looked good tasted delicious Would 100% go back there ”
